Mortal Kombat VS DC.
YouTube - Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe First Trailer
22 Characters (supposivly, with 11 from each side) No Fatalities Completely reworked the fighting engine/system/mechanics "Visual Wear" (basically the more you beat on the dude, the more you'll see it. Masks chip apart, slouched over when near death, slower movements when near dead, that kinda stuff). Sounds / Looks ****ing stupid. YouTube - Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe Video Intervie

Re: Mortal Kombat VS DC.
Same here. People over on other boards I go to are like "no fatalities isn't that much of a deal, I always played the MK games for the storyline anyway".
I just sit and stare at my computer in disgust for maybe 5 minutes before Alt+F4ing and walking away. Yeah, because if the Mortal Kombat games did anything, it was revolutionize the storylines of fighters ![]()

Re: Mortal Kombat VS DC.
all all things considered, if a game sells on fatalities, it is a ****ty ****ing game.

Re: Mortal Kombat VS DC.
I saw a match between the two best Blind players in the world, and it was the most boring thing I've ever witnessed in the world.
In fact, I think the first action both of them did was duck and crouch for like 10 seconds before either one of them did anything. The the nano-second they heard any kind of sound other than footsteps they'd go back to the block position.

Re: Mortal Kombat VS DC.
MK gave us fatalities, but it would be a lame fighter if all it had was fatalikties. Sorry if I preter fighting games that have more to it than just "lol i can impale people when i win a match lol"

Re: Mortal Kombat VS DC.
The news came out less than a week ago, and before that there was essentially 0 substantial evidence other than an interview that Boon did 2 years ago saying that he'd really like to do something like a versus game, and in the same article he mentioned that he was more of a DC fan than a Marvel fan. That's pretty much the only thing about this game that's been around except for a few leaked images where it's just subzero with a blacked out face next to it (the batman image) that was called "MKVDC.jpg" or something.

Re: Mortal Kombat VS DC.
I totally agree with you Pan. Playing a game for just a few seconds of a fatality scene is a waste of time. I mean it's cool to see it at first but for me it loses its appeal after awhile.
