SOOOOO... basically got in a ricockulous argument with my only chick friend in this piece of **** town.
over what you may ask? marriage.
you see, my friend jenny is engaged,while I never want to get married.
tonight on our way back from the store she says "maybe you and matt will get married." I told her no, I don't want to get married. when she asked why I told her my personal reasons. she being then began telling me all the reasons I was wrong, quite aggressively might I add. I told her I didn't want to hear about it because I don't try to force my opinion of not getting married on her so she should have the same respect towards me.

anyways, it suck fighting with your only girl friend in a tiny town where everyone sucks.

well i have the same problem with my family. they all want me to have kids and I DON'T want to have a kid. The blood line dies with me. So yea i know how you feel. Also they don't like it that I'm an aethist

I've been engaged for almost a year. We'll probably get married eventually, but why not? We love eachother so we have nothing to lose or gain by getting married, IMO.

and thats fine. same goes with my friend. I think she just needs to realize not everyone wants to get married and it shouldn't affect her so personally. I wasn't saying the reasons I don't want to get married are the reasons she wants to. Nor am I saying she needs that piece of paper and that ring on her finger. I just don't need (or want) it myself.
