the movie is about a guy(jack black) who has a magnet in his head or something weird like that who inadvertently erases a bunch of if not all the movies in a small video rental store. black's friend at the video store(mos def) is in a jam since none of the tapes work. So to fix the problem, they remake a bunch of the movies. Of course people figure out theres something wrong, but it turns out everyone likes the remakes they make.(i wonder why the tapes don't get erased now...) looks pretty funny, maybe an early contender for the best commedy this year.
so he has a magnet in his head that makes all the tapes go blank, so their first thought is to rerecord all said movies, while the magnet is still in his head? wouldnt it stand to make sense that none of hte movies would come out properly cause of said magnet?
I think the idea is funny, I've seen the previews of it in many other movies and it looks good.
SouLess, the majority of the moving going audience is not concerned with that. But I would think if they kept him near it the movies would blank out... but eh it's a movie... just laugh along like a good human
