That's what the problem has been for the last 2 years. Nobody here thinks we can change and we are dragged down by a bunch of old members who downplay everything about change. I think the best thing we can do to start this forum out the right way was to remove the asylum and downplay all the morons who complain about it missing.

Just ignore all the idiots/freeloaders. They aren't contributing anything to the forum except giving people something to look at on their screen and go "Wtf are you talking about you dumbass?". If we ignore them, and don't give them the attention they want, than we can only improve.

1) Eric is still an admin. He however, felt that max could get BF going again, better than any of us...so with that...he told crooked, and max is now the owner.

THe no flaming thin is outright bull**** IMO. Thats pretty much what brought me to the forum. It was the Asylum that made me stay, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

So you come to a forum to flame other people? That's just dumb...most forums are based on a specific idea or ideaology (Ex: Gaming, cars...etc.) To come to one specifically to flame people is destructive and entirely unneccessary.

Well, changes are happening..and we can't please everyone. We hope that the new features we have in the works will over-shadow the things we have removed. Ranting is okay in chit-chat..even venting if it isn't against a person. But if you want to come here to insult and attack other members, we're just not having that anymore.

Ryan I am not trying to degrade your position, because I loved the asylum too, but the purpose of this forum was for gaming. It somehow, over the course of time and lack of serious punishments, managed to work it's way into a chit-chat bully everybody else around to gain popularity forum. I think the only other improvement that we need is to stop letting clowns being upgraded to bstaff. When we take a look at members up for nomination (If this forum succeeds). We should look at their credibility to be the mod of that section and overall forum demeaner (sp?). If they go around trolling everybody then they shouldn't be put in a leadership position. I will go into more of this later....but I think you get my drift. I think we should focus more on gaining activity, then move on with making this forum more fun.

Well, I think if people only are going around trolling it would be restricted to the Asylum. Thus if all they are doing is posting in the Asylum why would they be even considered for a staff member? I think having a forum with NO RULES (With exceptions such as porn) is a great way to have people not lose it and do these things OUTSIDE the Asylum. If we have a strict no flaming anywhere I guarantee people are eventually going to start flaming. Its just a natural human thing. Granted the asylum has severely degraded since the birth of this forum I still do believe it is a necessary part of it.

Really I believe to have a forum with no restrictions as to what you can say to a nother member is really required. Tensions are going to build and if people can’t take it out on each other what are they going to do? Quit, or get banned.
