| I can't just get it sent to me because it's time-consuming, costly and it'd be sent overseas.
So can i just tell the seller to send it to an address other than mine? How does it work? |

| you can try, before you buy it contact the seller and see if theyd be okay with that
however: it might be hard getting them to send overseas, that has "scammer" written all over it.
also if its from an ebay store,s ometimes they state that they wont send the item to anywhere except from the address connected to whatever payment method it is, normally the paypal account

| Oh no it wont be sent overseas. I'd pay via paypal and just get it sent to an address inside the US, and the product is from the US as well.
But thanks though, i'll contact the seller. |

| Renzo: You probably can...as long as YOU have a verified billing address. I'm not completely certain though. Like you said, contact the seller .

| I just bought a digital tablet off eBay, and it asked me if my shipping information was the same as my billing information. I'm assuming that means that you can have two different addresses on file and send things "as gifts" to an address other than your billing address. I mean, I used the same info because it was coming to me, but if I had wanted to send it to someone else I'm sure it would have been all good. |

| If you're using PayPal, you CANNOT send it to a friend less you have is address verified as a valid billing address. I tried it before but the seller wouldn't send it to the address which is quite normal:
Imagine you get access to some strangers PayPal account, go on a shopping-spree and have all the stuff sent to your address.
Unless your friends address is verified as a valid shipping and billing address in your paypal account, this will not work.
Trust me, had the same trouble. |

| @cm: some people will still do it, just have to ask, depends on how cautious the seller is.

If you're lucky, some seller will ship to another address but thats only up to the seller. |
