| Well, considering that he applies the makeup himself, and he's just a crazy person, not someone that had a breaking point and snapped, and blames Batman on everything bad in his life, yeah.
But then again, Ras Al Ghul was totally different in the previous movie. | |

| True...But, you always want to have some sense of realism in a movie in order to relate to the viewers...

| They took the mushed clay that was CD comic's ideas and some from Jack Nickolson and they molded it into a modern day/ Voilent / Sadistic / Not so cartoony joker.
His beginnings are different in this movie (scarecrows fumes) and thus his path and look should be alittle bit different. Even though the goals and outcomes will be the same.
Heath Ledger has not yet been able to play a really crazy character... I believe he will be a better joker than Jack in some senses.
