Vadriel smirked at Bathizar's cocky display. The mortal had some abilities, true, but he was far too flashy for his own good...it could get him killed. "Not bad, but...you missed one. Pardon me."
Vadriel cuffed the neck of a guard who had managed to circle behind them, knocking him senseless. Vadriel lifted him up and twisted his neck, killing the guard instantly. Splaying his wings, he concentrated slightly, and the guard's departing soul was sucked into the hungry shadow vortex of Vadriel's own soul, draining the man's power, memories, and all he knew.
Vadriel let the lifeless corpse fall to the ground, and smiled. He now knew the spell the guards had been using to strip creatures of their power. It was a complicated one, but such things were far from beyond the scope of his abilities.
Experimentally, he tested it on one of his Shadowbeasts. The creature's sorceries broke, and its matter dissipated back to its home realm.
Vadriel laughed. With this new power, the playing field could be leveled against anything he may find in this odd place... | wtf is the deal with internet role playing? i dont ****ing get it

| Yep. Cuz you totally know me in real life.
And this just proves that Gimmi has nothing better to do than follow me around and comment on every post I make. This kid hasn't got nearly enough imagination or creativity to ever go into the RPR for any reason other than his usual stalker habits.
Tell me Gimmi, do you just do a search for "Vadriel's most recent posts?" Or do you just click on any thread that has my name in it? |

| Because it is fun way to fill the existence that some are missing.
Text RPGS are very common. My friend goes on a forum that is chocked full of E-Text RPGS. I myself prefer to play rpg games, because it is more fun, challenging and interactive.

| Rofl. I have a right to reply to things that relate to me...and he did quote one of my posts, and it's obvious it was because he just followed me into the RPR. It's not like I never venture into Chit Chat, and so me coming across this thread is a lot less "omg obsessed" than him stalking me into the RPR.
Lmao @ the Jafar pic, though. Very appropriate. |

| I have a big imagination and these ideas help me organise what could well be nice things to write about.
The character of mine is part of an RPG I am designing on Warcraft.* |

| I would make my own RPG, but I already wrote a story of a fantasy world and I don't want scrubs ruining the story of it.

| I like how he tries to make it look like he has a large vocabulary, but in essence he fails because he doesn't know how to properly structure his sentences and has a few instances of same-word-usage.
And blow me about the above sentence, I'm a writing god when I choose. Though seriously "He sucked the mans sould into his own soul" sounds RETARDED |

It's a literary no-no, but I take enough damn time to type these out...most of my battleposts are at least that long, and who am I trying to impress? The two or three other kids in the RPR? I have a lot that happens in these entries, and getting it all in is a hassle...we all know that long posts are rarely read.
I'm really pretty knowledgable about grammatical sequencing and general sentence structure. But, I'm not writing an English composition, nor am I writing anything I plan to sell. So...why should I bother? Besides, writing every post like a week-long, multi-revision English final doesn't very well cater to the intellectual level of others. People don't like to be outclassed, so I keep it down.
In role-playing, there's also the "oh crap gotta spit this out in case somebody else posts their own thing before I can click the "submit" button, and therefore possibly messing up my entire post." When one is slightly rushed, one tends to make errors that one recognizes, but sadly dismisses. I've seriously regretted some of the simple sentences I've left alone for ease's sake, and the *gasp* fragments and run-ons that I've allowed to let slide in the name of laziness.
Speaking of my damn long posts, it's a sort of calling card for me...I can't help but write long posts that get most of what is on my mind out on the table. People accuse me of trying too hard and getting too into things, but it's really just how I write...I talk too much, hehe. Just look at this very post; I'm sure it is shaping up to be rather long as well.
So unclear pronoun reference, misplaced modifiers, fragmentary sentences, and simplistic diction/terminology aside...when I give half a rat's ass, I'm a more than fair writer. I've been told this by many people who are qualified to judge (namely faculty at one school or another), and I have yet to recieve a grade lower than an A on any paper into which I put more than a half an hour's time and thought. |
