MADRID, Spain -- Hospital officials in Barcelona say a 67-year-old woman has given birth to twins.
Mother and boys are reportedly doing well, though the newborns were in incubators. They were delivered by Caesarean section Friday.
Officials said the woman had undergone in vitro fertilization outside of Spain.
A 66-year-old Romanian woman gave birth to a daughter two years ago.

| Her age has nothing to do with the childrens mental stability. Regardless, if you're 67, you're probably not thinking that you are going to get pregnant, so you aren't using contraceptives anyways. | |

| It has been proven through various medical studies about fertility at older ages can have a higher chance of these defects or mental instabilities, but not by much.
Then again, at least it isn't a 15 year old or something. Then again, in places like 900-1500 Japan, that was considered a norm. | |

| Yeah, but cow poop is used mostly as fertilizer. There are many ways to make cheap cash off a cow.
I have no clue what honestly made her do it as such an age. That is the real mystery here I believe. | |
