Which game was this?

So somewhere around 1995-1997 I played this super-awesome demo of an action game on PC. I totally forgot what it's called and I want to play it right now. But I don't even know what it's called. I hope someone here can help me, thanks

You were playing some half-alien/half-spider kind of thing with big ass weapons and four legs, running around dark underground dungeons and techy areas, killing soldiers, security and all kind of monsters. I believe you were moving pretty fast (spider-like), and some enemies were too. The graphics were full 2D (sprites), and the camera was bird-eye (like the first GTAs). The whole game was very gory, it had a lot of blood and gibs and enemies exploding. There was just a whole lot of shooting without it ever stopping, and I believe you could get upgrades to your weapons, and pick up all kinds of other goodies.

Please help me

Oh and I'd also like to know where I can get some info on games from arcade machines. Specifically I'm searching for a game where you were flying over a metropole in a super awesome high-tech jet, busting the shit out of hundreds of enemies coming from everywhere. Plus you could drop BOMBS on the city which of course made the game even better. It had a two-player mode, and it was full 2D with bird-eye as well. What was this?

Or is there any type of genre-name/overview/listing/screenshot archive for these type of games? I mean full arcade in-your-face games, I'm sick of current games. Help is very appreciated.

Can't find much about the first one, but if you can't find it, don't know if I will be able to...

Wikipedia has this that might or might not be useful.*

OK thanks, I already searched Wikipedia and looked at all the arcade and action games 1995-1997 but couldn't find it. It is possible that it was released on PS aswell, but it might have been only Shareware as well.
