I have a better idea. My watch cost me $30 at Wal-Mart, and I recently bought an MP3 player that matches it for $100. For a fraction of your target price range, you can accessorize. No contest.

Why not have a cell phone and the expensive watch and everything would be fine.

I'm not a watcxh person. But paying that much for a watch seems a bit far-fetched to me. :O

I have a cell phone already so I don't need another one. I need a watch, and since it's my birthday soon, my family is going to buy me a watch instead of me buying it so I was thinking of something like this.....

I also do not want a watch with alot of high tech stuff on it (mp3 player, gps, leds, w/e).

I personally like this one, but there are some nice classic-style Staur timepieces here. Another one I like is the Steinhausen Dunn Horitzon, a watch no thicker than its band. It's a nice Swiss calendar watch packed with technology. These ones are in the $100-$200 range.

But then... you're probably looking for jewel-studded watches, right? In that case, you can't go wrong with Rolex. And guys... don't bug him for spending so much. Some watches are a little more expensive than what he's looking for.

Although, I could find myself a decent 1924 Beuscher True Tone alto on ebay for that much...

Id spend that much on a watch. But its not really one of my top spending choices right now, so it might have to wait a year.

I've actually always wanted a very nice, classy pocket watch. You just don't see those nowadays. The sign of a true gentleman. I'd wear a monocle, too. Absolutely no joking.

An example of exactly not what you want to be like when you are a teenager.
