ata drive
ata sata what ever it is but im having a problem with it ok ive had this computer (oldcomputer) for a few years and i just bought a new case for it. so i switch out everything then i turn it on nothing happens but eventualy i get it to do bios beeps'. anyway my boot drive doesnt boot (witch is the sata drive) and when i put the windows cd in it doesnt see it so i need to know how to get my sata drive working.

Do you have the SATA option enabled for that drive in BIOS? You might have to manually change that from IDE to SATA.
