I honestly have no idea why fox cancelled the show. It ran one season and they decided to make room for crap like Angel and Buffy......damn shame.

The cancelled it because they suck. End of story. They tried running the episodes all out of order and didn't advertise it and basically just suck. Same reason they're probably dropping Arrested Development.
