| If you're using Windows XP with SP2 you can try fixing the limit on TCP connection attempts. http://www.speedguide.net/read_articles.php?id=1497
Also, if you're behind a router you should set a static IP address and forward all the ports needed for eMule.

| You also have to have a good ranking on your peers' list so you can download quicker without waiting in the queue. eMule is good if you can spend the time to get a good rank. Otherwise, just use Bittorrent.

| I believe they have it in their program, like under help menu.
If not, try 4662, because the port for Korean emule i use is 4662.
