| math question! How do I do this?!
I need to slove for y (the distance between the edge of the elipse and the centre of the circle) and the percent the blue, green and red colours take up in the elipse and the area of the triangle. The picture is small so I'll list the given stuff, the angle on the left side of the triangle is 45.93895 degrees and the right edge of the triangle has a length of 2 metres.

| It appears to be trig.

| No it looks like a elipse with a triangle in it.

| How about the rest of the information given? Like the top angle, and the line's distance seperating the blue and green? Also, write the left angle out to every decimal that they give you.

| Well, it looks like the center of the triangle is also the center of the ellipse, and that the ellipse radius whose length you have to determine makes a 90º angle with the triangle hipotenuse. We know that the hipotenuse length = 2/sin(45.93895). Using pithagoras theorem we can find the low side of the triangle, and then its area. I'll continue with it later on, gotta eat lunch now :o |

| I've never seen that in geometry so its definitely trigonomitry.

| DUUUR IM A EFFIN WETARD DUUUR
and if you guys really know geometry and trig, you should be able to get the rest of the angles of the triangle.
I don't remember how/when to do Cons and all that other crap, so I can't really figure tis out right now.

You should learn to read before engaging in a text-based discussion.
And remember, you're the idiot who can't do ninth grade math.

| In the image there is no little box in the bottom right angle of the triangle, so there's no way to know it's a 90 degree angle without knowing the values of the other two angles...and you didn't give the measurement of the top right one :/ |
