| Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust I recently saw this movie and I liked it because:
-it had a story line and I didn't get boured.
-as I saw it, it was like love story combined with alot of action.
-well defined characters
At some points it got pretty dramatic.
As a thing that I didn't like I want to mention all those crosses, that had an pretty tiring effect for me at some points in the movie.
What was your impression?

| are you talking about the original or the second one (bloodlust)?
i like the second one more than the first, but i hated that stupid parasite in his hand.

| Bloodlust rocked the first one hardcore.
Except for the talking hand, there wasn't much wrong with the anime. |

| Well....D was never naked in Bloodlust, but he did unleash his vampiric powers and ****ed up his mom royally - stabbed right in the heart with a flying jump, sweetest thing in the entire movie. Pussy, and she's all shocked about it. Dumb bitch, I saw it coming a mile away!
If you don't know which one you saw, what was the animation type? Bloodlust is more current, cleaner, crisper, while VHD was drawn with the 80's style of animation, retched in my opinion, I hated that look.

| =/ What's wrong with the older animation style? I enjoyed Vampire Hunter D, but I've yet to see Bloodlust...for whatever reason.

| I didn't really like the original Vampire Hunter D, so when people said they loved it, I was kind of shocked, until I learned of the newer, more modern (And probably better) one is the one that most people were talking about.

What I didn't understand was how come the vampire Meier didn't die after the mom of the hunter sliced him in 2 pieces with that statue's axe? and has managed to heal himself back and fought against the hunter in the end of the movie. |

| Well, if you keep up with most vampiric lore, then you'd know that a vampire isn't dead unless you get them in the heart, and since Meier was sliced directly in half, the heart being more to the side....eh, whatever.

I hated both of them with a passion |

| Blood was dissapointing in the fact that the chick was...a weakling. It had too many questions that it never answered. I liked Hellsing, if only for the fact that Alucard was a total badass, it's arch enemy in the series was a total retarded pussy though, ugly thing...also, if you want to watch it, watch the Japanese version, they sound so much better; they got some ball-less tranny to do the voice of Alucard, while the Japanese got a total gothic sounding gawd, fit him perfectly.
