Manga owns Anime

Hands down, when it takes 10 minutes for anime scene to show someone kicking at the other guy, one manga book puts like 10 anime episodes into one, and you can always go back to it easily, and has better picture quality sometimes too. Not only that it gives much better storyline or backgrounds of characters in the end of every chapters or just narrator.

Manga owns, I don't know why people bother to dl 200 mb or 500 mb high quality anime instead of downloading whole series of books (around 700mb depending on manga).

it all depends,in animes like naruto, people actually like to watch the 10 minute butt kicking scene.

But with animes like inuyasha where its like 900 episode sidetracks, the manga > the anime.

But yeah,generally manga > anime

I have one Dragon Ball Z manga book, and it's a lot better than the anime. It actually explains things in more detail (They talk more). I think the people who translate most of the Americanized manga make more of an effort than the people who work on anime (Groups like ADV Films.. those assholes).

Manga is a book of sorts, like a panthlet shaped book about the anime I believe. Anime is well, animation. Basically, it's two different forms of visualizing. One is by turning a page, the other is by burning your oculus's in the form of staring at your screen watching anime. ^_^

I've read some mangas, some Chobits Ones and a few others. I think it depends mon the anime and mange in question. Some series go better with one, and some go better with the other.

So I'm taking it that Manga is to Anime as Graphic Novel is to Cartoon? If so I would definately agree with N_Legend.
