| Now playing v.13 (Obviously better then RoaCh's version!) Since Darkmatter closed the last one, I thought we would need another one. You guys know the drill.
Note: For those of you who don't know the drill, post the song you're currently listening to, and preferabbly, post why you like it, the lyrics to the song, or any other information to give your post a bit more "meat."
Nobuo Uematsu - One Winged Angel
This is a great song, especially if you like Latin. Some of the lyrics were actually taken from old Latin scripts.

| Haha, I was just about to click submit reply with a new Now Playing Thread, but I like the name of this one. ^_^
StarCraft - Terran1. This is the expansion theme for the Terrans in SC Broodwar. The music is purely awesome, as the first 4 or 5 minutes of it is new music that players haven't heard in SC before, and the 4 or so minutes left is the addon to a more slow, then ''we got to move'' type of theme for the ending. I love it. |

| Nightwish...no idea the song, it's a burn CD. I'm really liking these guys becuase it's like rock opera, great vocals, mostly female, but also sounds with the intesity of alot of some of the main stream European rock bands. Europe is giving birth to great musicians.

This is probably one of their best songs. I love the beat, and the lyrics are awesome.
I'm becoming less defined as days go by
Fading away
Well you might say
I'm losing focus
Kind adrifting into the abstract in terms of how I see myself
Sometimes I think I can see right through myself [x3]
Less concerned about fitting into the world
Your world that is
Because it doesn't really matter
(no it doesn't really matter anymore)
None of this really matters anymore
Yes I'm alone but then again I always was
As far back as I can tell
I think maybe it's because you never were really real to begin with
I just made you up to hurt myself [x6]
And it worked.
Yes it did!
[Chorus]
There is no you
There is only me
There is no you
There is only me
There is no ****ing you
There is only me
There is no ****ing you
There is only me
Only [x3]
The tiniest little dot caught my eye and it turned out to be scab and I had this funny feeling
Like I just knew it was something bad
I just couldn't leave it alone, picking at that scab
Was a doorway trying to seal itself shut
But I climbed through
Now I am somehwere I am not supposed to be, and I can see things I knew I really Shouldn't see
And now I know why (yea now I know why)
Things aren't as pretty
On the inside
[Chorus] |

I love Chaos and Dead Souls by NIN.
NIN - Chaos!
This song rocks! I can rock out to this song, because it's the one way ticket to the chaos! :lovedup
Also, because it was the best track on Twisted Metal 4 by far. |

| Quote: Mourning Palace -- Dimmu Borgir
Daylight has finally reached it's end
As evenfall strikes into the sky
Far away in the dark glimpsing moonlight
Sickening souls cry out in pain
Whispering voices summoning screams
Waiting for Satan to bless their sins
Blackhearted angels fallen from grace
Possessed by the search for utter darkness
Hear the cries from the Mourning Palace
Feel the gloom of restless spirits
Hear the screams from the Mouring Palace
Feel the doom of haunting chants
Eternal is their lives in misery
Eternal is their lives in grief
Abandoned in a void of nothingness
A chain of anger, a fetter of despair
In this garden of depraved beings
This unsacred place of helpless ones
Satan blessed the creatures
Inswathed them in endless night
Whispering voices, summoning screams
Waiting for Satan to bless their sins
Blackhearted angels fallen from grace
Possessed by the search for utter darkness
| I've been listening to a lot of Dimmu Borgir lately. It's some good shit. This song doesn't seem to have as much orchestra involved as most of theirs, but it has more metal. This song's a bit quiet at times, and the vocals are a bit on the illegible side, but it sounds good at the appropriate sound level! |

| Misfits - In the Doorway
I know alot of Misfits fans that don't know this one, mostly because it was previously unreleased. Pretty good song, short and simple, like alot of the Misfits' stuff, but it's different. Real catchy, sounds like if punk rock happened in the '50's, has somewhat of an old school rock 'n roll sound. |

Push my fingers into my eyes...
It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache...
But it's made of all the things I am today...
Jesus, it never ends, it works it's way inside...
If the pain goes on...
Aaaaaaaah!
I have screamed until my veins collapsed
I've waited last, my time's elapsed
Now, All I do is live with so much fate
I've wished for this, I've bitched at that
I've left behind this little fact:
You cannot kill what you did not create
I've gotta say what I've gotta say
And then I swear I'll go away
But I can't promise you'll enjoy the words
I guess I'll save the best for last
My future seems like on big past
You'll live with me 'cause you left me no choice
I push my fingers into my eyes
It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache
If the pain goes on,
I'm not gonna make it!
Pull me back together
Our seperate the skin from the bone
Leave me all the Pieces, and then you can leave me
alone
Tell me the reality is better than dream
But I found out the hard way,
Nothing is what it seems!
I push my fingers into my eyes
It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache
But it's made of all the thing I am today
Jesus, it never ends, it works it's way inside
If the pain goes on,
I'm not gonna make it!
All I've got...all I've got is insane...
All I've got...all I've got is insane...
All I've got...all I've got is insane!
All I've got...all I've got is insane!
I push my fingers into my eyes
It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache
But it's made of all the thing I am today
Jesus, it never ends, it works it's way inside
If the pain goes on,
I'm not gonna make it! |

| Dave Chappelle - (I wanna) piss on you.
Roach, it's our song!
Hilarious song from the Dave Chappelle show.. it was made as an imitation of R. Kelly.. because you know.. he has unusual sexual preferences.

| The Specials - Why?
The Specials were the first band of the 2nd wave of ska (2 tone ska) that started up in England from 1979 to the mid eighties. Really good song, its an anti-racism song. Any of the Specials' stuff is good to kick back to.

| 11. Am I Evil?
[Bonus track]
[Tatler]
[Harris]
[ZOMBA MUSIC, 1982]
[Originally recorded by DIAMOND HEAD-1980]
[Metallica, originally performed by Diamond Head (Recorded in 1982)]
[- words and music by Brian Tatler and Sean Lindon Harris]
My mother was a witch, she was burned alive.
Thankless little bitch, for the tears I cried.
Take her down now, don't want to see her face
All blistered and burnt, can't hide my disgrace.
Twenty-seven, everyone was nice.
Gotta see 'em make 'em pay the price.
See their bodies out on the ice.
Take my time.
Am I evil? Yes I am.
Am I evil? I am man, yes I am.
As I watched my mother die, I lost my head.
Revenge now I sought, to break with my bread.
Taking no chances, you come with me.
I'll split you to the bone, help set you free.
Twenty-seven, everyone was nice.
Gotta see 'em make 'em pay the price.
See their bodies out on the ice.
Take my time.
Am I evil? Yes I am.
Am I evil? I am man, yes I am.
On with the action now, I'll strip your pride.
I'll spread your blood around, I'll see you ride.
Your face is scarred with steel, wounds deep and neat.
Like a double dozen before ya, smells so sweet.
Am I evil? Yes I am.
Am I evil? I am man.
I'll make my residence, I'll watch your fire.
You can come with me, sweet desire.
My face is long forgot, my face not my own.
Sweet and timely whore, take me home.
Am I evil? Yes I am.
Am I evil? I am man.
My soul is longing for, await my heir.
Sent to avenge my mother, sweep myself.
My face is long forgot, my face not my own.
Sweet and timely whore, take me home.
Am I evil? Yes I am.
Am I evil? I am man.
Am I evil? Yes I ****ing am.
Am I evil? I am man, yeah.

| CKY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings
With my perceptions in a mix
Down twenty miles through the sticks
To the cloudy town of Hellview: Population 96
Excessive vacancy, well maybe
In the shadow of an eye
All the strangers pass right through
Where the rules just don't apply
At the fork turn left a store
But on the right stay free from sight
'Cause 96 quite bitter beings
Like to stack the bodies high
The only way to ever leave is
Overflooded by the storm
And entanglement in Hellview
Brings you fear in fifty forms
They've deleted all the tourists
At the bottom of the lake
And not one supports the cause
To leave the blood stay in the veins
Here, three miles back is where we are
All we ever wanted was an answer
Civilized are close but way too far
All we ever wanted was an answer
Footprints giving clue to where we are
All we ever wanted was an answer
Civilized are close but way too far
All we ever wanted...
I love this song, it always sounded so cool to me.

I hope I won't be there in the end when you come around
How long will he last before he's a creep in the past
And your alone once again
Will you pop up again and be my special friend
Till the end and when will that be

| 2. Ride The Lightning
Guilty as charged
But damn it, it ain't right
There is someone else controlling me
Death in the air
Strapped in the electric chair
This can't be happening to me
Who made you God to say
"I'll take your life from you!"
[chorus:]
Flash before my eyes
Now it's time to die
Burning in my brain
I can feel the flames
Wait for the sign
To flick the switch of death
It's the beginning of the end
Sweat, chilling cold
As I watch death unfold
Consciousness my only friend
My fingers grip with fear
What I am doing here?
[chorus:]
Someone help me
Oh please God help me
They are trying to take it all away
I don't want to die
Time moving slowly
The minutes seem like hours
The final curtain call I see
How true is this?
Just get it over with
If this is true, just let it be
Wakened by the horrid scream
Freed from the frightening dream
[chorus:]
*orgasm*

| Red Hot Chili Peppers - Suck My Kiss
I remember when the RHCP Greatest Hits was first released, and they had this song playing on the commercial for it. It has a great bassline, as do most RHCP songs. |
