I don't have the disc that came with my windows, but i do have the files off the disc. How do i make it so that it will become noticed upon my boot? At the moment, i have a corrupt hive file, thus rendering my computer useless until the computer is fixed.
... You can't, I think, unless you make a disk on another computer. I have no idea what a HIVE problem is, though.
But you can re-install Windows by booting to a command prompt, using cd directory to get to the files (I guess it is either C:\cabs, C:\WINDOWS\cabs or something like that) and typing setup.
