| Where do you live? What area of the US, I mean?
EDIT: Oh, it wasn't a brown recluse. Yeah, brown recluses are only really dangerous because they tend to hide in clothes or shoes. If they weren't stuck in a corner, they wouldn't bite. What you want to look out for are hobo spiders, AKA aggressive house spiders. They're just about as poisonous, they are almost identical to brown recluses (though more common in western US), and they will literally chase you.

| Wait... where DO you live? It'll help with identification.
In the meantime, it wasn't a jumping spider, was it? We've got a lot of those here. I once found one of these by my TV. Really cool looking with the green fangs. It was about half an inch long. |

| OMG!!!! I LOVE SPIDERS!!! I used to bring them in the house, and my mom would freak, mind you she freaks at ants. And it was hillarious to see her screaming at a microscopic thing. But, it's funny to watch other girls cower at the thought of picking them up, and same for guys. Don't be weenies. Lol. But, spiders are my minions, they do my bidding.. MUAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

| This isn't it, is it? This's just a wolf spider. I'm looking for Nebraska-native spiders. Looks like the recluse is found in some parts of the state. They aren't native to California, but I've heard of some sightings around here, so it's not impossible to find a brown recluse in your area.
One thing to keep in mind about spiders--there's been a small epidemic going around from people dying after using public toilets in airplanes. In an autopsy, bite marks were discovered on the victims' rear end. There are deadly spiders that like to hide under toilet seats. Just so you know... I always check. |

Kayle:hop | Same with me. There's tons of jumpinmg spiders here, as well as water spiders, black widows, you name it, it's probably around here in California. I love spiders because it's fun to watch them kill stuff then let them go. I'd catch a black widow, watch it kill something, and let it go. I used to own a tarantula as well, though it died I loved it so much because it was so neat. ^^
I would just let the spider go. Usually when you kill them, they find some way top get back at you for their death later. .gif) |

| Awww, a spider threat! How adorable! They are so cuddly ^_^. I remember when one of my 5 brothers was home, Brandon, we used to catch ants and find a huge ass spider web, and throw them in it, and wathc the spider attack it. And also we'd catch ants and put them atop our grill that was on and watch them melt ^_^. We were some ****ed up kids, lol...

| I know a bit about spiders because I've done some research on them. Especially the loxosceles family. Personally, I hate spiders.
On the subject of finding stuff in your food/drinks: just the other day, I made myself some top ramen. When I finished eating the noodles, I sipped down the juice, but when I got to the bottom of the bowl, I found several tiny cooked brown beetles. Needless to say, I was a bit disturbed. |

gah i hate spiders. I literally cringe when i seen one, and i cant control it. I just ****ing "freak". It doesnt even matter how big it is. I have this weird looking ****er outside my window- find it for me before i try to kill it and it kills me.
its about -------- abdomen and all with legs ----------- about that long, with a greenish/yellow look to it, with black makrs on it. also has yellow legs. I dont think its a writing spider. Too small and doeant have the web markings they do. Tell me what this ****er is so ill know im not in danger when i kill it.

| Baby crows are my favourite, they are so cute and when it's learning to fly and it's on the ground there is literally a flock (or murder to be correct) watching over it. There was one in my yard and my cat was sneaking up on it and the whole murder attacked my kitty. Oh poor kitty lost alot of hair.

| You watch! One day, some stupid scientist will toss a bucket of jumping spiders in a large radiation valve or something, and they'll grow and ju,p on everyone and kill us all. Damn spider killers!
I love daddy long legs, they keep those pesky mosquitos and flies out of my room. |

| There are brown recluses all over where I live. But when I was at my parents house, we had a couple of Black Widow nests around the house, one outside in the corner and one in the basement. Needless to say we didn't have any problems with any other spiders. We had a mud-dauber nest in the garage...so it was one nice happy ecosystem at my parents house
