Seriously, there's been like 2 posts in chit-chat all day. Wow. I thought maybe posting wasn't working.

If the staff/admin doesn't do some changes soon (rather than just a pretty skin)..I can see this site fading away much faster than I ever expected.

Yes, but there was a hell of a lot more posts when I was admin than now. Just saying.

It's obvious that bf has been in a downward spiral for quite awhile. However, it's definitely at an all-time low.

well the reason why I believe this community is dying out is because SC + wc3 are incredible unpopular in USA for example. CS is more popular and specially CS-S when comes to america. These forums were very alive and popular when war3 was just launched SC wasnt as old and playing mostly in Korea.. Diablo still had activity.. etc etc.

I think the forum needs to re-focus and re-think some stuff. the front page was a smart thing to do. Using it constant would be again a wise decision.
You can't simply rely on community if you don't attract them with something.

yea anyway i already suggested to hire an article writer or 2 to help renew some of the guides and stickies so theres at least something new here but that either got ignored or had the subject changed quickly, so **** it, not doing it again man. need more than a fancy looking board to make this place worth visiting. lazy ****.

**** knows how hes planning on making this place popular by just sittin there doing nothing, look more like hes just puttin up ads and bailing it out, collecting money from the ads clicked on by natural traffic from search engines. bets that he is as well..

I love how you're blind to the fact that bf was atleast 10 to 20% more active when I was admin. Actually, statistically, the numbers started to go up before I left.

It's okay if you prefer to be ignorant and blind though. I'm cool with it.

I already acknowledged the fact that BF had been declining. I don't deny my mistakes. It however was significantly more active than this.

So it's not how I left it.

it is exactly how you left it. stale and uninspired. Just because it is worse now is a direct result of you and Eric, and then you both come around and say about how bad things are mirroring how everyone said the same thing when you were admin, but no one seems to notice the irony.

Oh I know that Erics alter ego Max also had a hand in dismantling what little credibility BF had, but the fact you and Eric still decide to only show up to criticize the very foundations you built (or should I say destroyed) is extremely irritating.

This forum is based on stale and uninspiring. That's not my fault.

There is little originality to this place (at this current time). At least when I ran it, I tried to add little bits of originality...even if it was through the simplest things. As of now, everything -- right down to the names of the forums are boring and uninspired. The content is dull and outdated. The games are years old, played out, and unpopular. It's not my fault...no matter how you'd like to pin it on me. It isn't Max's fault. It's not Donny's fault. It isn't the members faults.

And if you want to play the "it's the admin before's" fault..have at it, but you'll have to blame Crooked for owning bf, cort for leaving BF to me, crooked for passing it on, etc. It's all BS and you know it. This is the problem with BF. People LOVE to point the finger, blame so-and-so, but that's as far as their motivation takes them.

I'm not the one pointing fingers here, and I'm certainly not here to simply criticize the forum. Why would I spend SO much time working on a forum, just to come back after I step down to ridicule it? That may be Eric's purpose for being here now, but it's definitely not mine. Have you seen any of my post-admin posts? Hardly any of them are negative. I'm just posting as I always have. Maybe you haven't noticed, but once again, not my fault.

I was simply complaining, in a forum that was meant for complaining. What a concept. Not to mention, the Asylum can use any +1 it can get. It needs it.

As far as I'm concerned, Donny is a great guy, and is excellent at what he does. He's t he richest 16 year old I've ever known. I hope he has what it takes rejuvenate this forum. I hope he's more successful than myself. Unlike many past staff members, I wish the best for this forum, and will continue to do my part to help..even if that's just by posting.

..but the facts are simple (as irrelevant as they may be):

When I admined BF myself, things were great. I'd say BF was about at it's peek. When I promoted Eric, hell broke lose. I tried to keep things together..but it didn't go as well as I'd had hope. Yet, BF was doing decently activity wise. It was declining, but people still had things to talk about..even if it was about killing eric. Now, eric is gone..and there's nothing interesting to talk about.

When I was an admin, chit-chat had almost a page a day of new posts. Now..it's lucky to get 2 - 5 posts, period. The game forums are worse than ever. Again, that isn't my fault. It might be convenient for you to say it is, but you simply saying it is doesn't make it true.

Regardless, I didn't make this thread to point fingers, or blame anyone. I'm simply stating what's relevant, and what obvious needs to be delt with. BF IS deader than when I admined. It IS lacking..and the staff DOES need to work harder on bettering it. How is any of what I said untrue?

Do you think BF is at it's peek? Do you think it's fine how it is? OR did you just need to blame me to make yourself feel better?

I was specifically goading you for an interesting e-fight, but all managed to do was find a way to not only make a post I can't completely rip apart, i but one it would take to long to do so.

BF was at it's peek around When Cort had it, before he archived the entire forum, and Summit ruined any shred of continuity and stability. It is just oh so much funner to blame you because you are here, and pin everyhting on Eric when he is around, but the reality is you are all to blame. Every last one of you. Even Donny whose idea of progress seems to be getting a new skin, and a portal, two things battleforums has never and will never need.
