| Negative. The way that the prices are, it would have to retail at about 800$. And theres no sign that the Blu-Ray technology will be any lower by the time that it comes out. | |

| But it wont be 800 for the fact that its a console, and no one would buy a console for 800 dollars.
And hell no would I buy a PS3 for 800. I might have a lot of money, but thats the reason I have a lot of money, I dont spend it on things that I know arent worth it. The most I would spend on a console is 400.

| Negative. If you could buy a Playstations Blu-Ray player for 400$, when the actual players are 800-1000, which would you buy.
Exactally, they wouldn't buy the DVD players when they could get a PS3 that does the same for half price.
If it comes out before next year (07) then I guarentee you it will be approx 800$. | |

I voted no. $800.00 is a lot of money to piss away on a console. I'd rather buy a computer that can do more for far less.

| That doesn't make sense. Just because it's a game console, doesn't mean I have to buy games for it. There are plenty of people that will (if it's under 400$) buy it simply because it's got Blu-Ray technology.

| Blu-Ray DVD players won't be 400 when they come out. They'll be easily 900+. If Sony releases the PS3 when it's rumored to come out (Late 2006) then they literally CAN'T sell it for under 800 because it has a Blu-Ray DVD player installed in it. | |

| So the review was correct to say that it will be around $800.00
But again, who wants to dish out that kind of money for that?
Well, I don't have daddies money to buy things for me, so I don't know what that's like.
