It is not the fault of the bible that so few women are named. It is due to the time period that it was written in, filled with such a large repression of women. For example, there are in fact over 160 women spoken of in the bible. Some of whom give more than many of the men, yet still do not get their name put into the bible. For example, a commonly told story is the one of the poor widow who among rich people who put much money in, puts two cents in, everything that she owns. Yet she does not get a name. It doesn't show you anything about how women being named means religion is against women, it shows you something about how women were treated in the past.

So because, to put it in your words, "the bible being misused" caused wars, it becomes the fault of the bible? Jesus specifically says in the bible that "...an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering service to God. These things they will do because they have not known the Father or Me." I think Jesus answered this point for you.

Blaming the bible for people using wrong is like somebody suing a medicine company because they did follow the instructions on the bottle. I'm going to go take a fatal dose of medicine which the bottle says not to do, and then have my family sue the company because I was too ignorant to read the label.

Even though it wasn't the 'medicines companies' intent, the medicine still caused harm to the user. Even though the medicine company wasn't 'evil' they still caused harm.

So because, to put it in your words, "the bible being misused" caused wars, it becomes the fault of the bible?

The book was harmful because it could and did get misused. The bible isn't evil and no one is saying that it is. It caused harm and that is a fact.
