My thoughts on racism, post your opinions if u want to :)

Well, unlike what some of you may think. I am asian, and i am pretty tired of being a victim of racism. Im not only speaking for asians, but for every other ethnicity out there too probably.

For those of you who dont know what its like. imagine being made fun of for who you are or how you look since you were 5. I am saying this right now, because i reached my limit yesterday. Somone started calling me slants and telling me to open up my eyes yesterday, i reached my boiling point. I broke his nose and one of his eyes is f@#$ed up. I am now expelled from school...

Anyways, yes racism. First off, the small dick thing. Thats really stupid, most of the times people who make fun of othere peoples size of dicks are probably insecure of there masculinity. And its just so annoying. I think racism, is just a way to make somone feel better about the things they lack. They make fun of asians for being smart, is it because they are stupid? They make fun of mexicans being lawn workers, at least they work hard at there job. Do people really think its funny?

Also, there are the race-card playing people. Like i.e. have u ever seen a black person get in a fight? there are a few of them out there who will play there race card. they will say that the other person owes them what-not since they were mistreated years ago. and that they are being racist because they dont agree with them. I dont think this is right either.

What im trying to say people is, or ask is: What does being racist do for you? Make you laugh? if thats what it does for you. then all i can say is, god help you...

I'm white. The school I go to is mostly dominated by Italian or Portuguese people. I hang out with the minorities, becaues I don't care about race or color.
My friends come from Africa, and Sri Lanka India etc. and some white kids too.

Racism exists, and no matter who or what you are there is always the stereotypes. And whether some people do it or not, some stereotypes can take over the most accepting person. I have learned that there are some fools who decide to take a culture and mock someone for it. Personaly I would knock someone out for it, regardless if it affects me or not because I do not like that.

I have come to the realization that in reality people suck. Very few people don't suck, and when you find people who don't suck, go you!

They do it because they want to boost themselves.

Its strange, i have friends of all races but half of my other friends and racists. But they dont dislike me for not being racists. My county is ****ed up.

People will always be hostile to one another. Even if there was only one race, people would just start to discriminate and point out other "flaws" such as height, weight, etc. (Which we already do).

And hostility isn't always a bad thing. It usually brings competition (A good example might be the Cold War.. well, maybe it's not the best example, but it is an example). And I'm not trying to justify racism, but I'm trying to take more of a neutral standpoint. It's easy to point out the flaws or racism and fit in with everyone else's opinion, but I'm just trying to see the brighter side of things.

And some people learn to keep their cool by going through these kind of situations. If everyone was relaxed and didn't have to worry about facing racism before going to school, people would get lax.

But, I guess what it really comes down to is, would the world be a better place without racism? Maybe, but it doesn't matter, since people are always going to discriminate against each other.

Ok theres 2 kind of people I dont like. Racists themselves and minorities that take advantage from their race. There are lots of fights and some happen to be between 2 different races... then the minority will play the race card and usually the white guy will get the stick for it. I don't like the way countries bend over backwards for them, affirmative action and all that bullshit. Thats discrimination itself, choosing a person of a different race other another. If you really want to give them respect then let them accomplish their own goals without being pampered ffs. Maybe it would give the public a better view of the ones that make it.

We as people are all racist. Everyone, has said, or thought of something rasist. This stems from lack of knowledge of the others life, culture, and life in general. I am Asian, and have seen rasism all my life, take it with a grain of salt so to speak. Many people in the world are not aware of this, but, for every black slave their was an average of 1 hispanic, 2 native american, 3 asian, and so on.

Chinese built over 90% of the railroads, and more died then the civil war. Italians were slaves as well, they died digging out goldminds.

Anyways, rasism is based on differences of the people. someones skin is a different color, eyes are differnt, taller, smarter, disfigured, whatever it may be we are all guilty of it.

Mr. Sloth, as for you, you need to find a better way to combat the rasism. You can't go around beating everyone up for expressing their stupidity. Try humor, works well for me. Also really good for pick up lines lol. Keep your head high, and know it will get somewhat better as you get older, but, their will always be someone with a small mind that thinks it's funny to point out the differences in others.

Try humor it works so well, to knock down someone that is trying to make you look small, but in return they look smaller. Then they will get so pissed off they will try to hit you. Then you can beat their ass in self defence.

A bit off topic here but sorry. I never understood the idea of the slang of "nigga" that to me seems more racial than anything. I have jet to see a group of asians going around saying "hey whats up *****as?" or whatever.

To me that seems a bit like african americans thrive on remembering the negative.

Anyways. If everyone in the world was tought about everything that was to make someone different weather it be race, religion, sex, ect. Their will still be something someone would find to openly remark about to make them seem superior. Unfortunitly it's apart of our nature.
