Drinking sewage would have the entire african population dead in a matter of weeks.

If their food was dirt, they'd all be dead. Humans can't process dirt directly.

One major factor in the spread of AIDS in Africa is the sexual habits of Africans, yeah I know you're thinking this is obvious but there is an important dynamic in the situation in africa that most other countries lack, people being in extended relationships with multiple partners. Sex w/ an infected person does not always result in AIDS, but repeated encounters over time may transmission very likely. I read this a while back in what might have been discover.

First I must say, since the bible was written their has been someone stating that the current mass virus is in their. Black plauge, which still exists in very rare cases, was said to be in the bible as the plauge in revelations.

Secondly, unprotected sex, (homosexual, straight, or whatever) and drugs are euqaly to blame for the wide spread epidemic, as well as modern technology.

Thirdly how many of you, who are sexually active actually get checked every six month? You could be to blame and not know it. Just because protection against STDs are available does not garentee you are free from said STDs

What right you you have saying they are animals? Some coustoms we have here actually seem more barbaric to people within other borders. Men unforunitly rape women everywhere in the world. gashing off breasts may seem wrong, but in the middle east if you are caught stealing you get your hand chopped off. Here a room full of people deside weather a brain dead woman is to live or die. To me that seems pretty barbaric. Kids getting beat left and right come on. I got my ass beat by my dad everyday growing up. Gangs exist everwhere, (Compton) nuff said. water and food in short supply... we got homeless problems worse than any other country. Seriously, you for the most part are correct, but think about the last time the news showed positive things. It dosen't sell. People wanna hear about tragedy, and whatever else to make their lives seem better than they are.

Getting back on topic about the new strain of AIDS/HIV. Please do not assume that just because someone is homosexual that they are sleeping around with everyone unprotected. I have a few friends that are homosexual, and are in a committed relationship. You could have "full blown" AIDS and still live a long life with almost no symtoms at all.

Equally important to mention is the fact that a good persentage of drug users are with the desease and dont realize that they are infact spreading the virus, by using needles and/or sleeping with others. So to say, or think that is just a "gay cancer" as it was known originaly is wrong. A close friend of mine aquired HIV as a result of a blood transfussion way beack in the early 80's, before any testing was done for it. He is a healthy straight man who is married with kids now, living with HIV. Basics are no one can truely say how long someone has if they get the virus, because everyone acts different to it. This is a major factor in trying to find a cure.
