| Well, I would have responded to the content of his post but it was based around personal attacks and basic unfounded bullshit. Pointing out the United State's poor standard for education is an effective way to argue for a stronger government.

I mean Im sure Bush calling them Axis of Evil surely made a great impact, its their own fault that made N.Korea make nuke (well.. probly not, but still, its a possibility) | I can't believe any of you haven't mentioned the most obvious circumstance yet:
Selling nukes to terrorists.
It's entirely possible.. although fairly doubtful. Still, it's a good situation for North Korea; if they did manage to sell a nuke to a terrorist network, they would be attacking us indirectly, without having to face the consequences of backlash. If the North Koreans play this smart, they'll try to utilize our current situation by using our current enemies.
Think, people.

| No risk that terrorists will use WMD technology
Waltz, Kenneth N. Proffeser of Political Science Columbia University. 1995.
"If terrorists should unexpectedly decide to abandon tactics of disruption and harassment in favor of dealing in threats of wholesale death and destruction, instruments other than nuclear weapons are more easily available. Poisons are easier to get and use than nuclear weapons, and poisoning a city's water supply is more easily done than blowing the city up"
September 11 emperically proves this.

| Two or more nuclear bombs? Pfft, we'd pwn them. We already have enough nukes to clear all of Earth's land mass several times over, if I'm not mistaken. |

1) Our Electricity Company is linked to Pennsylvania, Maine, New Jersey, Maryland, New York (Where I live), and Ohio. We supply alot of states with Electricity, if WNY were to be bombed... NYDSEQ would be bombed down and electricity would go out. THIS WOULD BE THERE FIRST PLACE TO AIM AT AS WELL
2) Not only that, but if they aimed around there... Half of Canada would flood as well as New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Ohio.
3) With all our gas lines, one of them even goes off... All the houses in NY are blown to pieces.
Easy as that.

| Yep, its clear, we won't be messing with North Korea in a long time BECAUSE they have nukes. I highly doubt that North Korea is going to be the start of WW3.
The reasons countries go to war is to keep the population down and gain resources. REcently with the advent of Nuclear Weapons, countries could doless and less with war. So the idea is to pick on the countries that don't have the Nukes (ie the Middle East). This is why Israel exists, to create enmity among those nations.
This is why Vietnam War was continued even though it was a mess already.
This is why we destroy the countries who don't have nukes like Iraq. It's all a conspiracy.
Some say its teh Trilateral Commission, so say different. But whoever planned this had foresight.
If we go to war with a country that has nukes, things will be messy, so to speak. (however, in the end we will be forced to); going to war with countries like Afghanistan and Iraq, is to stall time before that happens. So as long as this happens, this country will be "disarming" countries that don't have nukes or destroying socalled "dictatorships"
Then you got Hotel Rwanda (a decent movie by the way) that has more evidence for this controlling the world population/resources phenomena. We "let" them die (the africans out there) when the "West" very well knew that there was mass genocide. the reason: population controls.

| That's a great conspiracy theory. But untrue. In Rwanda, we let them die because there were't much natural resources to gather, that's why. Same for N. Korea. NYsafg what? |

| [color=DeepSkyBlue]I definitly think that N. Korea is going to be the next big war we get into. They are becoming a bigger threat than Saddam was in Iraq. Of course, N. Korea's nukes aren't able to get to the U.S. because they aren't that advanced. I think we should get in there before anything else happens that might let them hit the west coast of the U.S.[COLOR]

| You guys are really pathetic, have you ever seen the N Korean country? They have nearly no army big enough to comebat china or even S Korea, so they make nukes to replace infantry and mechs. Think about it.

| I think it is a mistake of N.Korea to publicly admit it has nuclear weapons. It only will bring economic suffering to its people. IMO they should have made the nuclear plants to produce electricity. But then again...the U.S shamies everybody else who has nuclear weapons and is producing them...when we have enough to level the earth 10 fold. I fear this situation and the upcoming one with Iran |

if terrorists want nukes they will get them, and theres nothing you can do about it. for every terrorist you kill, you create more.
one persons terrorist is anothers freedom fighter.
if only north korea had oil, bush would have attacked and disarmed them by now

Either that or he is thinking of a plan to take out North korea and Iran and get DOUBLE THE OIL!!!! (j/k) I think it would be foolish for just the U.S to go against North Korea or Iran. It would only increase the amount of poor decisions Bush has made as a president. |

| A lesson was learnined in the first gulf war : if you have nuclear weapons, the united states wont fight you. Iran, Irak, N.Korea, and every other little dirt bag nations learned that lessons, because, as of yet, no nuclear power was ever attacked in a full scale war since the creation of nuclear weapons. |

| In one of my story-plot things, I had Pakistan and India engage in nuclear warfare, and the resulting fallout spread from wind patterns onto the Middle East, thereby contaminating everything in the are (including oil and oil-refining machinery). Saudi Arabia and middle East can't replace contaminated machinery and/or find new (uncontaminated) oil supplies, oil supplies dry up, and a global economic crash resulted.
Unrealistic, but...what are the odds of that happening? Or something like it. |
