| Who voted for other? There were no other candidates, were there? >.<"'.
I voted for Kerry.. though I appreciate Bush's "patriotism" his economic policies are horrible. And, personally, I don't give a damn about moral issues (Which Kerry is pretty liberal on) as long as I have food on the table.

| Well I voted for Bush which is sort of obvious with my signature for a few reasons. The main reason I voted for Bush was for moral values.

| I voted for Nader on this poll for several reasons. First, because he was the only candidate whose record I can support- President Bush signed No Child Left Behind legislature and the PATRIOT act, as well as presided over the war in Iraq, which has been conducted in a way that I don't believe is the optimal way to conduct such a war. Senator Kerry voted for No Child Left Behind, the PATRIOT Act, and for giving the president emergency powers to go to war, and this makes him, in my view, essentially the same as president Bush on many major political issues. In the area of social issues, I disagree with both candidates, but Senator Kerry to a larger degree; I believe abortion is wrong and should not be allowed anywhere, and President Bush shares my views in this. However, both have views on homosexual marriage I do not agree with. Senator Kerry believes it should be legalized as marriage, and President Bush believes that, to my knowledge, it should not occur at all. I think a sort of combination of the two should be done- the state should give benefits to heterosexual and homosexual equally, keeping them together and equal, but should not force religious establishments to grant marriage to homosexuals. Instead, religious groups should be allowed to choose who they will marry, and cannot have any decision in the dispensation of benefits to homosexuals. This prevents the seperate but equal problems of civil unions, and the church and state problems of homosexual marriage. Nader has views with which I strongly disagree in the area of social issues, but I do not believe that a president can do a great deal to stop abortion, and that a president can do little to implement a fair solution to the controversy of homosexual marriage; it is my view that only courts and the legislatures can control these two issues in our current system of government. |

| People will argue and argue, but a solution will never be reached. Every president has policies that some people will hate. People are generally unsatisfied. If homosexual marraige was legalized, which I strongly oppose, the people would always want more. In a world of pluralism, most, but not me, believe that you can do anything, as long as it doesn't affect them in a negative way.

| I really think Nader should actually go out for a GOOD party, because he would have won this election if he would have.
Nader actually has the BRAIN to be a president unlike Kerry and Bush... Bush, has the lowest IQ of all the United State Presidents ever in office... Now tell me that isn't pathetic?!
