for others it's hard to understand why someone could kill himself... others don't understand you how the hell could want to stop to exist. someone who wants to suicide has usualy reasons that seems to be worth dieing for.
i once rammed a knife in my stomache because my girlfriend left me and i thought if i die she would know what she has done to me. my mom found me than and called the ambuance. i was in hospital for about 2 month and i was operated 3 times.
after that my girlfriend and i were a pair again till today.
but now i self can't understand why i've been silly enough to do this.
you shouldn't kill your self. We are humans and not lemmings. and i hope everyone has enough brain to stay away from suicide

well like I said before, how do you know that your life is shit? maybe a girl you loved just dumped you. But have you been prostituting in brazil for something like $5 a pop since you were 8 or so? anyone that commits suicide degrades society. It makes us look like jerks. we are the 1st world countries. we have luxurious sports cars while other people have donkeys as their mode of travel. We dont live a shitty life compared to others, so why do people commit suicide?

I've had a few friends of mine commit suicide. I didn't attend their funerals/wakes. I didn't send condolances, I didn't care, because they were idiots for taking their life because it was too hard. Three times I've gotten a call from one of my friends saying that they killed themselves (not from the actual friend that died, but another one), and all three times I sat there and laughed. People that commit suicide are pathetic, UNLESS they are mentally unstable and forget their medicine or something.

Because we may not have problems that involve physical benefits, or lack of money, etc. What if your girlfriend DIED, and she was the only thing you cared about, and the only person that you thought cared about you? It's not easy at all to search for a new soul mate, or just settle for anything after something like that.

---also, there IS something that hasn't been talked about yet... what if the person thinks that life is to good for them, and then they donate their money, their possesions, and then go into a cave, and kill themselves slowly, and very painfully, because they may be denying themselves a world they don't deserve, or that they think they deserve the worst kind of pain they think there is. Maybe they ARE worried about their loved ones, but this person may also feel that their family and friends deserve better. It is the rarest suicide ever completed. I don't know if it's still cowardly and dishonorable in THOSE cases, because THIS one is about the denial of pleasure, love, and sometimes your own humanity.....

How can a life of an american be too hard?
There are people in other places that live much much worse and they don't kill themselves, whoever kills themselves is a coward, life being too hard is not an excuse, especially for you americans.

Wow, I bet you had GREAT friends, I bet they'd be please to hear you say that their pathetic, and weak, and that you laughed at them, and you didn't even give a *quill rat's* &#@% about why they even did it. I'd LOVE to get to know you, you seem very, ummm..... compassionate. What about their families? Did you go and see them? Ohhh, NO! THEIR pathetic TOO?? What, is it their FAULT?

----Listen, dude, the point I'm trying to make is that no matter why they did it, or how easy you think their life was, or how stupid the reason may have been... I mean, damn... their your friends. Are they suddenly NOT, just because they did something you don't approve of? Not to mention, you didn't even get mad, you laughed. Laughed. Whether you're making this up or not, that isn't even the case. But I guess it doesn't matter, because now, they'll get the hell they deserve, right? And you'll get new friends, move on, and think of that as a little speed bump in yur life. Maybe even a "worthless memory". (sigh) Ain't that swell?
