| No sex+Love= Pwnage
I am writing a paper and your input would be appreciated it. Here it goes...
Is anyone nowadays waiting until they get married to have sex? I talk to different people(especially girls) about this and they wished they should have waited till they get married. My answer to them is why didn't you but nobody really gives me a straight forward answer. Do you think the percentage of people who wait till after they get married to have sex has increased or decreased over the years? why do you think this is so? Has society changed in a way to make people more aware, courious and comfortable with their sexuality?
I think people just dont know any other way to show their partner that they are loved and/or people are just curious and want to know first hand what it feels like. People seem even more curious now, about sex because it is everywhere we go. Magazines, tv, movies, even music. And society has made it okay, even though we might catch a disease or have a child. This is my opinion, I'd like to hear yours

| I think abstinence is a horrible thing because, when you think you find that special someone, having sex seems like more of a reason to get married. However if this person had sex before, when they start looking for a mate or someone that have already have had sex with, they will rely on something other then sex to keep the relationship together. For example if I get married, it will be knowing that even without sex I can still do anything for this person, because love doesn't have to include sex. | |

| People don't have sex because their curious; that's just an excuse. People have sex because they have raging hormones and want to release their love juices.
The introduction of contraceptives has obviously changed the sex before marriage ordeal. Also, society has become more lenient towards taboo subjects, which is apparent in, as 70Percent said, all forms of entertainment.

| I've had sex with 3 people...and one might be pregnant with my baby, yet I only see myself with one of them, which I broke up with because she is driving the crazy back in me.
My views on this is kinda mixed. I think that some people believe in it mainly as a christian value...which is BS to me...but some people also do it because it proves the love to one another by being able to wait that long. Then again I have some reasons why not. One of the reasons may sound a bit shallow...and I probably wouldn't ditch the girl because of the matter...but having sex before marriage is kinda like testing a new car. You take it out for a spin, and if you don't like it...bring it back. Like I said, that's not my mentality, but I do know some people like that. My main reason for not waiting, is because I don't find sex to be that big of a deal. I mean...I'm just getting off...whats the big deal? As long as you stay protected (which is something I might have forgotten to do from time to time [I hate condoms] and might be making my life a bit harder 9 months from now) it should be fine...and sometimes completely meaningless. I'm not the kind of person who can have sex with a girl and feel absolutely nothing...I haven't always felt this way however...that's why the girl I lost my virginity was a complete mistake (My god was she ugly =\). The second girl is the one I consider marrying and getting back with all of the time...and the third one is the one that I might have to stay with due to some natal problems...(she's the hottest of them all...but I don't love her)
Hopefully that long response will help a little bit.
