I have recentally heard that Catholics are trying to put Mary into a much higher position than she should be at.

how do they concider themselves christians when they do that?

same with their priests, and several other things they do in the church like confessions that arent even in the bible.

Catholic was the first Christian religion to come about... So, how could it be considered not Christian. Christian as believing in Christ, so they still fall under Christianity.

catholisism may have started a christian religion but it has vastly gone downhill. It should no longer be regarded as a christian religion because its practicies are mostly not in the bible.

I myself, am catholic and I can say so much bout mormons but you know what? I choose not to, because I know although the way the follow the word of God is different from mine I still consider them somewhat christians.

But seriously, you have no case to say why they aren't/shouldn't be christians. In your first post you say confessions are not in the bible. But as you said you have to confess your sins to god, and we as catholics tell it to our father whom asks god for us.

You also stated that we do "other" things that are un-needed. What are those "other" things?

Catholicism is not the first christian sect to exist, but it is the longest one, as the others were all extinct.

I really, really fail to see any logic that would lead you to think that catholicism is not a christian reigion.

They love their saints. You know why? Because when those saints existed (and most of them was in the dark ages), they were signs of hope among the rest of the suffering there was. And all saints were christians, all of them converted some people. I do think they deserve some respect for the hard life they (usually) lived.

And where the hell have you heard that they are trying to make Mary part of the Trinity? That must be the most stupid thing I've ever heard ever. Show me where you read that (and the link you showed seems to go to another christian cult site...).

If we don't count the fact that there is no god, I thought that priests were the representatives of god on Earth. Therefore, it's basicly the same thing, even though you do have an advantage to confessing to the priest. He can give you some advices, while when you talk to god, hoping for an answer, you can more likely find your name written with spaghetti in wall...

Anyway, you are taking your sept's directives as truth, which is obviously something you can not do when judging other religions. You should at least understand why they are like that...
