Illegal immigrants suing US

Last night's factor (O'Reilly sucks, yeah got it, thanks, let's move on):

The relatives of 11 illegal immigrants who died of thirst in the Arizona desert are suing the US government for not providing water stations in order to make illegal border crossing easier. They're currently suing for 41 MILLION dollars.

So, basically, these people, who weren't supposed to be here, committed a crime by sneaking across our border, did so of their own volition, and subsequently died of thirst for some reason (got lost, got hurt, etc.). And somehow this is the government's fault because it doesn't provide water stations for illegal immigrants who aren't allowed here in the first place?

I'm so disgusted by this. How dare these people sue us because their relatives broke the law!

Since a man won a case when he sued another, who owned a house where the first man felt and became an invalid, when what he was doing there was to rob the house, I am not surprised to see stupid cases winning in the US law system.

Pretty stupid. Why don't they just try and get in legally? I've heard of people suing MacDonalds for being fat and winning though, let's hope that some more idiots don't get money for no good reason.

Uhh... this case hasn't been won yet. The people who are suing will get laughed out of court (I hope).

I read it in a magazine somewhere, with the most stupidest cases ever worldwide, and most were american. Probably because you gossip more, but I don't know how to even look on the Inet.

thats kind of funny. people are askign us to make it easyer for them to illegaly cross our border. thats like someone asking banks to give out gun rentals so its easyer to rob the bank.

we should make a giant wall of fire on the border. that will stop them. it would also serve as a great tourist attraction... wouldnt you want to go see the flaming wall of fire? and for intertainment we could shut it off so they try running threw then turnning it back on befor they get to the other end. that will teach them a thing or 2 about trying to cross borders.

The goverment Runs the courts, and are responsible for enforcing the ruling. How exactlly do you win against that?

and you wonder why a lot of people are getting mad at current and past presidents for their foreign policies...a mexican gets caught illegally in the country...so they send the mexican back and about a week later he's back so they do it again.

and for the people that make it across the border and die and are sueing, the only chance they have for winning is if they get a liberal judge...and even if they dont the lawyers are just gonna sue again.

The mexicans that can afford a lawyer wouldn't be hopping the border, they would be flying their private jets to there mansion. You would be suprised as to how many of those guys there are in mexico.

People do it all the time. It goes to the Supreme Court (Judicial branch) and people win all the time. But this kind of thing is rediculous. You cannot expect the government to provide aid to illegal aliens. Mexicans, in general, not in a racist way though, disgust me.

Sakuhta, there are a lot of ppl in Mexico. Mexico has more ppl than it can feed. These ppl come over here seeking the American dream. Try and feed their families in Mexico. If that disgusts you, then you need help.
