Politically Correct and Historically Inaccurate

I'll look it up, of course, but, through constant retelling and changing in history books based on political correctness and economocists falsehoods, it's unlikely I'll find anything that I'd stake my reputation on.

Then how could you know for a fact that it wasn't mexican territory.

There was about 150 men in the American militia at the Alamo, and 2,000 men in the Mexican. The Mexican's lost over 600 soldiers. More like 1 : 4-5

That isn't so bad considering that they had the fort. Lets look at other battles that would suit as a good comparasion.

Actually just off set somethings. Steve Austin's father, I forget his first name, had actually discussed with the Mexican govenor of "Texas" about moving people onto the land, as America expanded westwards. They were allowed to do it as long as they followed Mexican laws, and they were only allowed 2,000 families to move in. Well in Mexican Law you had to be Catholic, no slaves and many other things that the Americans didn't listen to, and were essentially breaking the law.

And not only that but about 13,000 families had moved into Texas, b/c we thought that the Mexicans weren't using the land correctly and decided that we could.

When Mexico had declared war on us after Steve Austin (how ironic btw) couldn't come up with a diplomatic action. The people of Texas were bounding together an army of farmers and regular people. The US gov't didn't want to send troops in b/c we had no right to since Texas was originally fighting for INDEPENDENCE, not to become part of the Union. They wanted their own country and then a couple of hundred Texans bounded themselves at the Alamo, an old Church/fort.

They did cut down many more Mexicans than Santa Ana thought. And the funny thing is, if Santa Ana had just walked around the Alamo, Sam Houston wouldn't have been able to assemble his "army" and they would have fucl<ed their shit up and then destroyed the Alamo. And we wouldn't have the southwest possibly today.

So you are saying we should twist and put a spin on history so we can market movies to children? Why don't we just not make the movie?

In yet another flop by Disney, a politically correct movie displays horrible historical inaccuracies and, yet again, is destined to fail. This is the third HI-FI movie Disney has released, in a row, that has failed in the Box Office because they say Based on a True Story and then mess it up by not representing facts in it, correctly.

With such greats as The Rookie under Disney's belt of good and accurate movies, why can't they bring what they've brought to the sports genre to movies like Remember the Alamo? It is disappointing, really. I'm sure Walter Disney is turning in his grave.

I've never looked to Disney for a good movie, so I'm not surprised..

I stated one already, The Rookie. If Disney could keep that level of story in all their movies and historical accuracy, it would do much to improve Disney's reputation.
