The purpose of life is to die... its something all life does. What we do in the middle is all causality.

| cogito ergo sum is latin, you cant even write greek in latin letters. With the second sentence that comes from your mind you have proved your lack of knowledge on this topic.

How would you explain it? a magical being created us out of thin air?
Not to mention this magical being has never been encountered, and when something bad happens the answer is conveniently "god works in mysterious ways."
| Yeah, that's basically how religion works. You put faith in something you can't see or feel or directly experience in any way simply because when you look at the world around you, you see order in the chaos and miracles instead of synchronicity. Religion isn't about needing proof, it's about faith and understanding that some questions don't have answers.
"God works in mysterious ways," psh. People use that as an excuse. I think good things happen and bad things happen, and it's not necessarily God's work either way.
Anyway, I think maybe God has an "intended" purpose for me, and maybe he doesn't. My goal is just to find my own purpose, regardless of what anyone else thinks. |

| i agree with you. i realize religion is based on faith, but h's saying we need to get our story straight when his theory is even less believable... unless you put blind faith in it.

| Yes yes, but lets please not turn this into a Creation vs Evolution debate.

| Doesn't he believe in the God theory rather than the Big Bang theory? That's how I interpreted it o_O Either way, he really didn't give anything to back up his theory.... Quote: |

| Don't worry, I won't (and can't) do that since I believe in both ^_^ |

| Oh, okay, I just misunderstood then ^_^ That's true. I think you can believe whatever you want, no matter how abstract it is, but then you shouldn't go around saying everyone else is wrong or that something else isn't possible. I mean, I believe in God, but it'd be kind of rediculous of me to rule out the possibility that he doesn't. You never get anywhere if you keep insisting your beliefs are, without a doubt, the truth :P |
