Porn

Why exactly is it wrong for "minors"? I'm only almost 16 and I haven't been scarred for life. The funny thing is that I'm willing to bet that most porn viewers are teenagers. Besides, isn't it better to have your child watch porn than be out having sex?

Sex is meant for adults, not teenagers. It would be like giving a teenager a pack of cigarettes and not expecting them to find a way to use them.

I had sex years before I even saw any porn. Saying that porn encourages kids to have sex is a very weak, and flawed arguement.

Porn helps add flame to curiosity, curiosity leads to a happening, then before you know it wham, sex. Although BFH is right, sexual intercourse isn't always initiated after contact with pornography, most child even masterbate before they even find out what sex is or before there sexual organs even develop. Kids use to have to wear pants without pockets to prevent this.

Sex is "meant" for those who've gone through puberty. Saying it is meant for adults is just a cultural bias.

Then again, I absolutely hate the very logic of using age as a factor for anything of this sort.

"Why can't I vote, sir?"

"You're only 17."

"... And?"

Bullshit.

Not all porn depicts women, Pausebreak.

Also, what do you think people did before the grand invention of clothing? When will people learn...

And in some cultures people smoke at young ages for whatever reasons, and isn't phsyically healthy.

Plenty of teenagers have sex at a young age but aren't mentally ready for it. Phsyicall, yes they are done with puberty, still doesn't mean they can handle it.

I could handle it at twelve, and it was a lot of fun. I don't see how anyone could NOT be mentally ready for sex.

Do you really have such a low opinion of my intelligence or maturity level?

Not everybody is the same, though there is always the more mature one out of 10 teens, there is also the other couple that have sex at 12, get pregnant at 17, and so on.

Pregnancy never seemed to be a big fear for me. I wasn't stupid, and it was with somebody who I genuinely cared about. So why not?

In fact the first time I ever downloaded porn was for somebody else.

Alright, we've already established that you fell out of the teen group that gets pregnant or gets somone else pregnant.

True. But you have to understand that you can't just single out people like me (when I was that age) as being "smarter" in any way. At least not legally, so far as I know.

I know there are exceptions to it, but most teenagers aren't ready to handle the metal repercussions of it.

Could you possibly name a few of them for me? I can't think of any off the bat. Then I'll probably be able to post a more full response.

I can't, and I feel ashamed that I can only base this off statistics.

But, most prostitutes didn't have the best child hoods, I can say that much. If you have sex at a younger age it increases your risks of giving birth wether or not it is going to happen or not.

What about people like me, who have a greater chance of becoming president of the US than becoming a father by accident? Can you find me a single negative metal repercussion for me?

How can you say that? You can use a condom every time you have sex and still have that risk of a condom breaking. Now if you really are a homosexual, and aren't just putting on an act, then no, you wouldn't have too many risks as a young teen having sex.

I'm not putting on an act, and I have no chance of physical harm.

But you spoke of "metal repercussions". I'm now curious as to what they could be.

A lot of teenage girls suffer emotional trama after loosing their virginity, and their relationships with the person they lost it to change, and they change, and so on.
