| December Election As many of you well know, in Canada there's a good chance of a December election. I'm wondering where you stand on wheither or not it will happen, and who (if you can vote or not) you will support and why.
Personally, I'd hope that Jack Layton & the NDP are not stupid enough to vote nonconfidence, but if they do the conservatives will be in a fairly rough spot. People will hate them for causing a new election so soon, (within two years) and wasting their money. All the while accusing the Liberals (party in with minority government) of stealing taxpayer dollars. Naturally, for me, the conservatives cannot possibly give me what I want in an election, and the NDP will never form a government on their own. So I'd have to vote Liberal. Mostly because the riding I'm in is massively Liberal, and the NDP support here is fairly thin.
The Quebec Bloc I'd have to be against, well, for the sake of keeping the nation together. Seperation would hurt Quebec, rest of Canada unless we subsidize Quebec which would, of course, turn said province into a leech.
Discuss.

| Very few Americans are knowledgable enough to participate. Personally, I'll have to vote Liberal to get what I want out of the government. Conservatives, for me, would be nothing but counter productive. I would lose what I had gained from the Liberals. That's not acceptable.
I'm not certain, what are the conservatives promising this time 'round?

| What makes you think Conservatives will do nothing but counter productive while Liberals will be productive? What has Liberals done so far that is productive? Wasting tax payer's dollars is probably as counter productive as it gets. I say give Conservatives a chance, because Liberals have done no better. Either that or vote for the Green Party. I support them because they support a representative government like Switzerland.

| Conservatives promise to ban same-sex marriage. That is quite counter-productive to me. So forget them.
Liberals are the only ones who I can vote for. Go me. :grunt
