Aid for Pakistan?

lizard, the difference is not as big as you think it is. the political rally in my example was causing no real harm. i could go around saying that all blacks should be killed. the most that would happen to me is i might get thrown in jail for a night or two for inciting panic or a riot. and probably only if things got violent. the pakistanis arent killing americans. and as you said

dancing around in the streets stating that they are going to kill our government and all the people who support it.

who the hell cares? seriously. whats the big deal. are they actually killing anyone? no. trust me, its a big deal when an american is murdered. the pakistanis arent doing any harm right now. your just saying they should die because you think they have it coming to them after mocking us all this time. i say we should "be the bigger man" and accept that they dont like us, but thats no reason to sit back and let some die. i dont think you realize the intensity of the situation. death is not a light thing. death is permenant. people dont come back. if you have the ability to help someone in a situation like that you help them, you dont let them die out of spite. thats so screwed up.

we have to give aid. that's just the american way.

what i think is that thanks to this war, the asian tsunami, katrina, and all other little natural mishaps are causing us to use up what little money we have left. think about it, we have used more than 100 billion dollars onthe war, i think about 3 million on the tsunami, and millions more on katrina and pakistan. we're running out of troops and money

We give aid, they go, "I still hate America, but this is sort of helping...my family lives.." we don't help, and we crowned phyco bastards who are selfish. We are going to lose either way. may as well lose but gain a fighting chance for a future ally. Enemies now, but allies later perhaps. I mean with Britan, sworn enemies, then pretty good allies. I'd say the best thing to do is to give assistance.
