the fuel of the future is here

with the price of fossil fuels going throught the roof i believe this is the technology the government should be researching. it's eco friendly and accessible to almost everyone, i see no problems whatsoever.

What kind of a ****ing crackpot would not only collect dead cats, but then put their rotten composted bodies into their gas tank to see if their vehicle would run on it? I think it's probably safe to say that this guy's already way past senile.

By the way, this doesn't help gas prices. Who drives diesel? People who deserve to spend a lot on fuel, that's who. Will I buy a diesel-run vehicle so I can save a little extra by skipping the gas pump and importing corpse fuel from overseas? Probably not. I don't see this catching on anytime soon.

Another retard conceives another bad idea, and they're given their own article by CNN. Proof that the media rewards stupidity. Let's learn by example and praise Kamikaze for making this thread.

you're missing the whole point. you don't have to import your fuel from overseas, you can make you own now. the same way that they used to make wine, by putting all the cats in a big barrel and stomping the juices out of them with your bare feet

Just sick. You have all these perverts who already completely dispize and kill cats, and now you're going to give them a reason to (kill them).

I'm not going to dignify that idea with any more of a response than this.

That's better. Thanks amrtin77.

I have no problem with it, and yes. It should be used. Honestly, though... Twenty cats per gas tank? That writer needs to stop making stuff up and report the news.

My question for this interesting invention is whether or not it would be enviromentally safe.

biodiesel.org

produced from plants, giving farmers a reason to well... farm.

is also cleaner burning

downside - less fuel/energy ratio and may cost a tad more ( but no more than reg gas will cost in a few years. )

Why on earth would you use dead animal when we're so close on inventing Hydrogen fueled cars, efficient amount of hydrogens that is.

I'm ALL for the hydrogen cars. I can't wait to see them come out! They will be way better than the cars now and will cost an arm and leg for people to drive cleaner. Seriously, the hydrogen cars better be freaking cheap enough for the average consumer or "they" didn't fixed a damn thing.

Regarding cats and dead and/or alive animals for the use of fuels. None of us, and I mean none, probably have NO idea the processes of how things are invented. Even things that seem good, probably went through bad, and very immoral stages.

Good luck to us all.

lol...and you think other news reporters are actually telling you the whole truth..?

in my opinion, its not that great of an idea. if you want a car that is good for the enviorment.. maybe we should go to electric cars. They may not go as fast but we must make sacrifices to resolve a problem. only bad thing is..your electricity bills will go through the roof :corn

You guys believe what the media says too much. Seriously, what evidence is there to prove that this is possible? Is this even sanitary? Ethical? Anyways, last time I checked, burning corpses wasn't very eco-friendly. It looks like they were desperate for a story, and took this crackpot's word. Besides, who uses CNN anyways? They're almost as good at missing the point as MSNBC or FOX.

Good point, 133t 0n3. I don't watch anything other than CBC for my news, and I heard nothing about this until I saw it here.

And yes, I'd like to believe that most news reporters don't make up blantent lies. But that's just me.

Firstly: Goddamn, did any-fugging-one of you talking about dead cats even read the damned article? It has NOT ONE @#$%@^& THING TO DO WITH BURNING DEAD CATS! He's making fuel from craploads of garbage, and his example showed that it was possible to do it with corpses. It was HYPOTHETICAL.

Secondly, hydrogen is WAY overblown. If it occured naturally, then it might be a viable fuel source, but as it is now, it must be taken out of water. This takes energy. The thing about hydrogen is that it's very, very clean at the source of the burning. Meaning that your car's exhaust will consist of nothing but CO2 and water. It still takes energy to get the hydrogen- It's not an alternative energy source in itself.

Electric cars? Apparently if you buy/drive/consider buying or driving one you get insulted, or otherwise called "gay". At least that's what I see going on in America. It's not "cool" to drive a energy efficient car. It's "smart" but nobody seems to care.
