The Map I've made in my head for the last several months is an onslaught type map having two teams fighting for control of a number of nodes. Each team or player would have tower builders (as in your standard TD), a hero, and a barracks for generating computer controlled attackers. Thus advances into the opposing teams territory are made using computer controlled attackers (as in your standard TD - think WM wars) and player controlled heros. Once a node is secured, defense can include towers. The progression could be linear, with each node advancing further into the opposing territory, or more open ended with nodes dispersed around the map.

I envison it wave based, with gold based on kills, nodes controlled, and attackers sent. I would base all gold on TEAM kills rather than individual kills since I have found that using individual kills results in too much infighting amonst teams. As the game advances, heros advance in level and higher level towers and attackers can be made.

I dont get around on BN as much as I should, so I don't know if this has already been done or not - maybe its already out there.

Other thoughts?
