| learn to drum before you get elaborate... I play bass guitar, and as much as your statement hurts... nothing beats a three piece set... at least then you'll know what the hell you're doing before you decide it's not the instrument for you. With the bass you are/were committed to an amp, a speaker, a bass, and various cords inbetween. Don't make the same mistake of buying too much with a drum set.
GO BASIC. Embellish on it if you actually get better and actually like it. No point in spending a ton of money on something that you are only going to use for a year and quit cuz you don't like it. |
