| The "under God" part of the Pledge of Allegiance has never bothered me nor any of my peers who weren't Christian. A lot of people don't actually care about the Pledge of Allegiance anymore. Just stand up and pretend to care, recite it without any emotion whatsoever. The only place where the "under God" part would create a bad environment for non-Christian children is in Catholic schools, and there aren't too many non-Christians in Catholic schools.
