That is how it will end up. Remember that China is right next door to the Middle East and if we keep putting our heads into an area that is so closely to a Communist power, the only one left in the world, sooner or later we will probably bump heads.
It will be over oil, more than likely b/c the US needs natural resources, and China, the world's most populated country does to. The US will never be able to invade China and visa versa.
If I had to guess I'd say it would happen within the next four years, with Dubbya winning the election and showing what an idiot he actually is.
