| They were outside. More shots could be heard. Cries could also be heard. They were cries of anger, not pain. They hurried, following the sounds of the gunshots. "I'm sure Ting is alright....." Simon started, but was interrupted by Jennifer.
"Oh shut up! Just run!"
"Fine...."
They finally reached the source. There, Ting lay on the side of the wall, bleeding heavily from his right shoulder. He was also bleeding from his lower back. A large pool of blood could be seen, behind his back. "Oh.....shit." Yimin muttered. "Are you.....okay?" He added hastily, with uncertainty in his voice.
"Err.......I think.....so...." Ting replied, each word said seemed to cause great pain. Jennifer kneeled down, next to Ting's ear. Ting turned around, to face Jennifer. He looked directly into her eyes. Then he said, in a voice so small that even Jennifer was struggling to hear.
"Go......go.......go now......its.....not...safe......" Ting muttered into Jennifer's ear.
"What? Are you crazy? We can't leave you. You can't....."
"You.....must....he....come...backk............... .."
He said no more. Jennifer stood up, tears in her eyes. Yimin approached her. "Are you........"
Jennifer brushed his hand of her shoulder. She walked away. "Should we....."
"Leave her. Let her be................"
