A: There are loads of experts that choose Protoss.

Q: Do we really need 3 similar, active threads like this?

The REAL reason people pick toss is because carriers are the favored unit pro game late game pvt. They totally own terran.

carrier does not own terran, as a matter of fact carrier are not that good if terran sees it early. 80% of pros who goes carrier DOES NOT WIN if u watched those matches on mbc games where T owns carrier, golie/tank/scan was enough to owns carrier :O although carrier does win games but they only win when they have been hidden and pressured T to make ground force. pvt is hard for terran cause of goon and zeal doing full damage to them, shuttle/zeal rapes tank/vulture early even if ur using slow push, AND THEY ALWAYS RAPE 1 FAC EXPO!. if u go 1 fac expo as terran vs a 2 gate shuttle micro player, chances are u will lose fast cause they can tech to dt while harassing u and ur just pumping from 1 fac...T are not as strong as P but they stand a fair chance if u can micro enough

Yes they do OWN terran, even if they see them coming. The only they can beat them is to prevent carriers from being built. Goliaths aren't that great against carriers. Pros(Grrrr, in particular) have beaten many groups of goliaths with carriers, particularly because goliath's mobility sucks. Terran LOSES almost consistently to carriers. Go to www.wgtour.com before you make such claims. Most PvTs are won using carriers. Or visit the battle.net board. We just finshed discussing carriers v terran goliaths/wraiths. Terran counters to carriers suck badly, which is why they're so useful late game pvt. You need to learn more about the game before trying to argue with me.
