Theres a very very very good chance I know more about Tolkien than everyone on this site, just off the info I learned from doing the paper. I literally picked up every book about him, about his work, and about his life I could and read them all. Did he do a lot for modern fantasy? Yeah, of course. I'm not saying he didn't. But that doesn't mean he should be credited for DnD like you guys are apparntly trying to do. |
Not that he "had a hand in creating DND" But DND would likely not exist if Tolkien hadn't been around.
