I think its pretty good. I just think it would be cooler if the sun was setting and they were watching the sunset or something. If you think about it why would two little kids be sitting on top of a tree, staring at the sun ruining there eyes and getting really bad sunburn.... Also I dunno what object you intended to be the main focus in the painting but its kinda just the giant trunk and you notice the kids second.
