If I edited that post for grammar, that could make a pretty good sticky for the Strategies, on the whole Ladder System.
But yeah I understand there is a difference when the player is 35+ and has like 25:7 to get there. Than someone who is 24:25 and they are like level 19-20. But sometimes stats alone aren't the answer. I have seen people with 25:7 in FFA for instance, and I have beaten them with little or no effort in micro. But I have been beaten even with heavy micro by players who are like 10:15 at times. This all happened before the last ladder reset.
What I look for is the micro itself during gameplay. Stats and level just give me a basic idea of how the person performs up till now. And sometimes, stats say it all, or they don't. |
