Where is most likely other life, its a big chunk of something out where so the probability that our planet is somehow special and unique as far as life goes is minuscule. As for space travel, most likely yes, technology is moving a lot faster then our imagination, a hundred years ago no one could imagine a TV or internet, or cellphones yet now we can't live without em (well I don't watch TV but its a general statement) so yes most likely then not unless we discover some sort of a physical law that prevents us from doing so; we will be able to travel fast enough to get into other solar systems...that is if we don't nuke each other in the next 20-30 years which seems a lot more probable. |
