| Americans should be able to report suspicious activity in any situation. The last thing we need to do is scare people away from reporting suspicious activity even if it turns out to be something innocent.
As for airplanes in particular, I think the airline should be able to kick off anyone they wish to (as long as they put it in the contract when buying a ticket, give a reimbursement, or something along those lines) because I believe in private property rights very strongly (though federal law seems to disagree with me). Most major airports around here, however, are publicly owned, so that would need to be dealt with differently.
I'm completely against racial profiling; I'm completely for reporting any individual whose activities seem suspicious regardless of race or religion.
