| With v1.09, I would like to add a new soul that may be beneficial to this mission. The Demogorgon soul. One of these gives you not only a meat shield to take some damage, but also it grants the bearer extra protection against magic and physical damage. A few of these can last you till Hell where Duriel's Ghost can still harm you.
But the question is? How do you get it? Well, that's the problem. You need to summon it via Mystery Eggs. If you get Demogorgons from summon, keep the egg and repair it. But remember, it needs at least 1 charge to be able to hatch (you can only summon up to 2/7). Once you get the soul, you can then use Montreal's and convert it to a Jewel.
You may use these jewels with your Natalies, but I still prefer using Diversities. But on the wizard staff, I recommend using the Divine Pearl. Although its ment for paladin's, you get a +x Vitality bonus per level, allowing your HP to increase further. If you have Battle Orders/Command, this HP bonus will be a great asset even more. Barbarians can cast Command by skill, but others need to switch to a CoA weapon then switch back to staff.
As stated above, its all about HP and Resistances. Summons must follow this guideline too, some will be extremely beneficial to your cause, since they can take hits for you (especially from Duriel's Ghost).
As long as you can survive it once without trouble, you can do it again. |
