| Sorry mate, but there is an huge difference between the volcano kind of pollution, that is actually harmful for earth only in very rare ocasions, and the constant pollution caused by mankind. The last one is by far deadlier.
Why, you ask? Because, altough the volcanoes are able to send to the atmosphere a huge ammount of dust and poisonous gases, the entire fitosphere (not sure that's how you say it in anglais, as ever, but I mean the plant world) is actually able to recicle it all.
But when you get constant pollution, AND you're also cutting down that vegetal world, it will not help anything.
As for the Ice Ages, that has to do with the position of the Earth, rather than anything else (there was a small Ice Age in the middle of the second millenia of our age), but this doesn't help it.
The greenhouse effect exists, it's there, but it's not yet as serious as people want it to be. However, it still needs to be fixed, and you americans are not doing it at all. |
