Well my problem with this is that education is being messed with not on an objective basis, but in the name of promoting "diversity and countering islamophobia". Not only it will fail at achieving this goal, for Islam's image problem as nothing to do with how british are educated, but this is all done in the name of a political agenda who's worth is debatable.
Also, I could always raise the question of why should britons accept that their cultural heritage is being diminished in school for the sake of this political agenda.
